Some users have received fraudulent emails prompting them to download a security patch. Please be aware that this email is not from Intuit, as we would never ask you to download a security patch via email.

Details of the Phishing Attempt:

• The email is sent from root@prosper-e.co.jp.
• The subject line of the email reads: “Mandatory Security Update for 2025 Tax Season – Immediate Action Required.”
• The email may contain links that could compromise your security.

What You Should Do:

• Do not click any links or download any attachments from this email.
• If you’ve already clicked on any links or downloaded an attachment, please take immediate action to secure your account. Please call us immediately at 818-995-6420 or 818-310-7368.
